Cherry Squares

Cracker Barrel Restaurant Recipe

2 cups flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup butter

 Mix together with fingertips and press into an ungreased 9x13 inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Spread filling on top and bake 30 minutes more. Cool and cut into squares.

1/2 cup flour
1 1/2  cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
4  eggs slightly beaten

Beat smooth and stir in:

1 cup finely chopped cherries
1 cup coconut
1 cup walnuts
