- 8 red apples
- 1/4 pound butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- dash of nutmeg
Do not peel the apples and make the slices about 1/2 inch thick.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Add apples and sugar.
Place a lid on the skillet and cook for 20 minutes or until the apples are tender and juicy.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg before serving.
