Cracker Barrel Copycat Meatloaf


  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 3/4 cup raw onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green peppers, chopped
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/5 cup catsup




Combine all ingredients and press into loaf pan.

Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Drain off fat and add catsup to top, bake for another 30 minutes.

Bake at 300 in convection oven for 60 minutes. Remove from oven and invert loaf over wire rack to drain grease and juice. Spread 1/2 c catsup over loaf. Cut into portions. Serves 10.

  1. only thing i would do different is cut up onions and peppers pretty small, i made it tonight and the family LOVED it !!

  3. Question...are you suppose to cook it for an hour and a half on 350 then cook it for 60 mins on 300 or are those two different cooking options?
