- 2 cups sifted all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups buttermilk
In a large bowl beat all of the ingredients with a spoon.
Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, pour the batter onto a lightly oiled hot griddle.
Serve with real butter and real maple syrup.
Three buttermilk pancakes served with your choice of Golden Delicious Apples, Marion Blackberry, Sweet Peach or Montmorency Cherry toppings. Topped with real whipped cream.
To make the fruit toppings at home use canned pie fillings.
