- 1 1/2 quarts milk
- 1 1/4 cups liquid egg substitute
- 1/4 cup vanilla extract
- 1 1/8 cups flour
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 12 ounces vanilla wafers
- 1 3/4 bananas, peeled
- 8 ounces Cool Whip
Heat milk in a saucepan to 170 degrees
In a bowl, mix the eggs, flour, vanilla and sugar.
Add the sugar mixture to the milk in the pan.
Cook until it becomes custard-like, stirring constantly.
Spread the wafers on the bottom of the baking pan.
Slice bananas and place over the wafers.
Pour the custard over the wafers and bananas.
Let cool and add Cool Whip over the top.
