Cracker Barrel Apple Cheddar Chicken

  • 5 cooked skinless chicken breasts (good sized ones), cut into cubes (CB uses whole, but this makes a great casserole)
  • 2 cans Apple Pie filling (cut apples in thirds)
  • 1 bag EXTRA Sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 row of Ritz Crackers
  • 1/s cup melted butter

Mix cubed chicken and cut apples in pie filling, with cheddar cheese in mixing bowl.

Place mixture in casserole dish.

Top with Ritz Crackers that has been moistened with butter (not too moist)

Bake at 350 for about 45 to 50 minutes, until bubbly

It's not exactly like Cracker Barrel...but the taste is there and it is a big hit!!!
